Vitamin C

A highly stable, fast-absorbing and non-irritating form of vitamin C, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THDA) protects against oxidative damage from UV and other environmental factors.

It scavenges the free radicals that are a cause of premature skin ageing, improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation, reduces age spots and revitalises skin texture.

Being an oil-soluble lipid, THDA does a better job at penetrating deeper into the skin, where it will provide the most tangible benefits.

THDA doesn't require low pH extremes, making it much gentler on the skin. It also doesn't oxidise and degrade quickly, so you can take your time and use every last drop inside the bottle.

Bakuchiol

A powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. With continued use, Bakuchiol has been shown to have a noticeable effect on the skin, including a reduction in wrinkle surface area, pigmentation, elasticity, firmness and overall photodamage.

We source our Bakuchiol (trade name Sytenol® A) from the manufacturer, Sytheon.

Research showing retinol-like skin benefits was conducted using Sytenol® A. The most notable is a 12-week double-blind clinical study of volunteers using either Bakuchiol or retinol. It found that both groups saw similar results with no statistical difference between the two ingredients. However, the retinol group reported more scaling and stinging.

Bakuchiol doesn’t cause peeling and irritation, and it can be used during the day because it does not cause photosensitivity.

Vitamin C: Choose your Strength

Both our Vitamin C serums contain THDA. Which one you choose depends on the strength that is optimal for your skin. If you're new to vitamin C, start with the lower percentage.

Vitamin C + Bakuchiol - 10% THDA

Vitamin C + Broccoli - 20% THDA

Although it's not a substitute for daily sun protection, Vitamin C + Bakuchiol provide protection against oxidative damage, which is why we recommend using this serum in the morning.

Press 2-3 drops of Vitamin C + Bakuchiol Serum onto your skin after applying water-based serums. Or mix a few drops with your moisturiser.

Keep away from direct sunlight. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place. Best used within six months of opening.

The clear glass bottle is fully recyclable. Remove the label and place it in general waste.

The dropper is composed of some recyclable components. Gently separate the glass pipette from the dropper. Place the dropper bulb in general waste.

You can place the glass bottle and pipette in household recycling.

Returning customers can order products with aluminium closures. By reusing pumps and pipettes from empty full-sized bottles, you and we can go so much further in our efforts to reduce plastic waste.

We recommend you only reuse a dispenser from the same product. Residual tap water can introduce contaminants and may change the pH of our carefully balanced products. To avoid this, please do not wash the pumps or pipettes from your empty bottle.

Pumps and pipettes should be replaced after 12 months.

A favourite!

My skin is so smooth, plump and clear since starting with this serum. I only have positive things to say about it. I usually mix 3-4 drops in my day cream - it seems to get absorbed faster that way.

I finally found what I needed

I never write a review. But I really have to. I became 30 and my skin suddenly decided not to like my usual skin routine and my skin started getting to look old and tired. I have tried sooo many products but none of them improved it. I nearly gave up and accepted this was how it was and I found Kri. Tried some mini sized serums and I finally found what my skin needed. This serum does not make my skin feel and look oily but nicely moisturised and glowing. My skin looks less red and a lot younger after a few days. Thanks Kri for providing such amazing products.

Only just finished a taster bottle and it was fabulous. A few drops is all you need. I am trying the kid on the block but happy to keep this one as my go to and alternate love the Bakuchiol!

I have been using Kri for some years now. This serum is a fabulous addition to my morning routine. I just mix it with my Endless moisturiser and it leaves my skin feeling good all day. Well recommended

Like all Kri facial oils - it's gorgoeus!

Another lovely facial oil from Kri. I like them all so much that I have them all and I alternate, sometimes adding a few oils together.

The Kri oils don't leave your face greasy like you may think they would. They absorb quickly and that's on top of using Kri Hydrate Serum, then Illume Serum, Endless moistruriser and then I lock in the moisture with the oil, and it all absorbs nice and quick.

Love this product

On my 3rd bottle now - so, I guess I really like it. A little goes a long way & it provides a richly moisturising skin cover without feeling heavy. Skin feels soft and nourished, without any tightness or dryness. It makes a great base for my moisturiser too. Vit C products can often be tingly or irritate skin, but not this one. Can't really say if my menopausal skin looks better, but it certainly feels much more comfortable.

Great for Sensitive Skin

I have sensitive skin but am experiencing no issues at all with this serum. Skin feels soft and healthy, moisturized but not greasy. Will stick to this product and am excited to see how it works for me in the long term.
