SPF30 Tinted Mineral Sunscreen | Kri Skincare

Mineral sun protection

We use a non-nano / non-micronised variant of zinc oxide. This inert white powder is suspended in a naturally water-resistant formula that sits on the surface of your skin.

Given its high refractive index, zinc oxide is excellent at scattering light and provides broad-spectrum protection from the sun's damaging rays.

Iron oxide pigments in the sheer tinted version leave an invisible finish on the skin. The tint is intended to help balance and blend the sunscreen, reducing any potential white cast.

The tint it will not provide any colour coverage and should not be treated as a BB cream alternative.

Sunscreen should be the final step in your skincare routine after moisturiser. For adequate protection, apply a liberal amount (about half a teaspoon) to the face, neck and ears. Reapply during the day for continued sun protection.

At the end of the day, use Unveil Oil-To-Milk Cleanser to remove all traces of sunscreen from your skin.

SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen - tinted

A little bit thicker than expected and therefore a bit greasy initially, however the tinted formula I bought does disappear into the the skin and leaves no typical white hue on the skin as many mineral sunscreens do. This was my hope when purchasing so happy on that front. Smell was a little off putting at first too but only for a few seconds.

Feels very pure. My skin looks great, it seems to fill in some of the wrinkles too. Bonus! No skin outbreaks. My teenage daughter is now using it too. I am a total convert to this sunscreen after searching for so long for one that has no nasties, no oil and no skin disruptors. Love it! Will be trying the tinted version too.

Loving the tinted SPF. It is not greasy after application and the finish leaves my glowing. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to love it but it leaves my skin so so greasy and I struggle with the smell of it a little .

Reviews left before October 2023 refer to our previous formula in jar packaging. Based on customer feedback, we’ve made a small tweak to the formula and it is now housed in glass bottles. The sunscreen still provides the same level of protection.

Regrettably, some tints are no longer available.
