What is it made from?
Our prickly pear seed oil is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds from the pulp of the prickly pear plant, grown organically in Morocco.
Completely unadulterated and 100% pure - we don’t add any essential oils, preservatives or carrier oils to our prickly pear seed oil, making it a very high-quality oil.
Every drop of this beautiful cold-pressed oil is precious. Each seed is handpicked from the pulp of the prickly pear plant, and only 5% of oil can be extracted from the seeds. This meticulous extraction method makes prickly pear seed oil one of the most expensive and rarest oils on the planet.
What does it smell like?
A very light hay-like scent that quickly dissipates when applied to the skin.
How should I store it? When does it expire?
Always store your oils out of direct sunlight. You can also keep it in the fridge. Remember to tightly close the bottle after every use. Prickly pear seed oil has a long shelf life when unopened, but it is best used up within six months of opening.
As with all our oils, a little goes a very long way. This is particularly true for prickly pear seed oil. Massage a small drop or two onto your face after applying water-based products.
For maximum impact, you can also mix it with other products like our Organic Rosehip Oil. Using the pipette, add a drop of each oil into the palm of your hand before applying to face.

I really love this oil, I put it on top of my moisturiser in the evening. It is light and absorbs well and I also love the earthy smell.
Repaired skin barrier after too much active ingredients . Left skin smooth and glow.
This oil makes my face feel really pampered each time I use it. It seeps into my skin leaving no oily residue - it's just so lovely.
What can I say...some sort of sorcery surely, but it managed to calm my sensitive, rosacea skin after about 5 uses.
